Each Youth Ballet Academy Course will run over ten 6-hour days, finishing with stage rehearsals and a theatre performance.
An array of prominent guest teachers will develop and hone the student’s technical training, whilst rehearsals and engagement with learning new choreography will enhance their creative and performance skills.
The Youth Ballet Academy Courses will take place in various regions of the UK throughout the year.
Among the ballets to be studied and performed are the well known children’s classic tale ‘Peter and the Wolf’ and ‘Lyra’s Dream’, a ballet of the universe with music composed by Sir Patrick Moore.
Exposure to these lesser known classics will challenge and inspire Youth Ballet Academy students, giving them valuable practise at learning unfamiliar choreography.
